This is the second of the new series of "Technique Pages"

Start by removing this panel only and sand to get a good bond.

Put nitto tape on the panel in a relaxed state and only use Epoxy resin.

Drill the tape from the inside with 1/8 drill for the clecos.

 

Put your shuffler resin and cotton flox on to the
seat back

 

Place the panel back on with clecos.

 

12 hours later or the next morning remove the panel and now you're almost done and no dents in your side panels and the seat back fits the panel perfectly.

 

Now you're all done. You may have to grind the back side down to fit the nut plates and make sure they are square to the panel or all the work you have just done is wasted. This whole job takes around three hours.
Here we refill with a body putty all the indentations and imperfection the clecos put in the panel and then sand using a sanding block and 80 grit paper
